The Rise Organization mission is to make a distinctive contribution to the quality of life that strengthens the capacity of communities to solve problems and create opportunities for all citizens.
There are too many young adults out there, especially young women who have low self-esteem, weight and abuse issues. They need to feel valued. The Rise Organization believes that by spending time, working with them and providing positive information, you can help them, even turn someone around, who may be going in the wrong direction.
We do this by creating character building initiative programs that teach young adults the importance of developing and maintaining a moral compass. People who are exposed to positive situations really do have a leg up in life.
The Organization believes that we can’t wait for our government to do things. It has to be people to people. Helping to empower people can be a powerful engine of economic and social change. The Rise Organization’s desire is to incite a “Why Not” movement.
Rise is literally an idea free for all, where participants can help develop each other’s brainstorms, notions and shower-time inspiration.
Why should you join in? Well, for starters, there’s the fact that this is an investment in their future and yours.
