The Rise Organization was founded by Robert Bellamy and Michael Bena in 1982 and formed in Los Angeles, California. The organization theme was "Rise, A Human can fly" .The theme's aim was to get people involved into thinking that we could all rise above negative situations in our lives. "Education was always at the root of our problems", said Robert Bellamy. "It seemed that ignorance was and still is a real threat to our society.We had to do something and the Rise organization was created to promote our message that " ignorance is curable." We must not fall prey to the ideas that we are helpless in our society. Delusion is to be totally deceived, and delusion implies a belief in something that is contrary to reality. Delusion is ignorance, an unawareness of true nature of things or the real meaning of existence.
The Rise organization has been shaping young people to eliminate negativety in their life and live a full rich life. Mr. Bellamy says" Education is knowlege and when knowledge becomes the commodity that drives an economy, education is the one ticket in a higher education that is the only long term solution to proverty in the highly competitive economy of the 21st century. Rise gives us a chance to promote to the public how important a higher education is to our society.
