The Rise Organization is created to focus on community needs. The organization's mission is to make a distinctive contribution to the quanity of life that strengthens the capacity of communities to solve problems and create opportunities for all citizens. Since 1991, the Rise organization has awarded schools in cities with educational equipment to enchance the quality of learning.


                                      Strategic Objectives for Fiscal year 2010-2011

The Organization's strategic objectives for fiscal 2010-2011 are to:

* Improve and maintain the quality of life in communities.
* Initiate innovative solutions and approaches to problems in targeted areas of interest.
* Support and reinforce personal involvement of retirees.
* Reinforce Rise Vision and reputation as a top-decile non-profit corporate citizen.

                                                Funding Priorities

The Organization will focus in 2010-2011 mainly on four areas of interest and allocated as follows:

* Arts and Culture       25%
* Education                25%
* Family Life               35%
* Health and Nutrition   10%

The remaining 5% of funds will be allocated to other initiatives that are important for achieving the goals of the organization.
